Hollywood Sign from Griffith Observatory
This is a view of the famous Hollywood sign from atop the Griffith Observatory in Griffith Park. It was not clear at all and was pretty hazy out so there was not a good view of the sign. Nonetheless, it was still there and we had to see it.

Walk of Fame & Stars in Hollywood, California
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an 18-block series of sidewalks along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA that serves as a permanent public monument to achievement in the entertainment industry. More than 2,400 5-pointed terrazzo and brass stars are embedded at 6-foot intervals over a combined 1.7 miles. The stars bear the names of an eclectic mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others recognized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for their entertainment contributions. The Walk attracts about 10 million visitors annually - more than Sunset Strip, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Queen Mary, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art - and it has played an important role in making tourism the largest industry in Los Angeles County.

Bronson Cave - Near to Hollywood Sign
Vacation to Los Angeles - 11/11/2010 - Of course one of my tourist stops had to be the world famous Bronson Cave AKA the Bat Cave as well as the filming location for many MANY movies. It's also a prime location for viewing the Hollywood Sign without feeling like a dumb tourist snapping endless photos. It is pretty secluded considering it's in the middle of a public park and a stones throw from downtown LA. The best part is that parking is free!!!

Walking Around the Outside of the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles
The kids and I visited the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles on a cool, cloudy day, December 26, 2010. It had been probably 10 years since I was last there. We were all awestruck by the incredible 360 degree views from the site, including the Hollywood sign, Los Angeles and Angeles National Forest in the surrounding areas. Parking and entrance is free. This is definitely something you want to visit with out of town guests. Visit http://www.conejovalleyguide.com/dosomethingblog/griffith-observatory-in-los-angeles.html for more details and pictures. How to get to the Hollywood sign, Los Angeles, directions and tips
http://www.disturbedcooking.com I show you in less than four minutes how to get behind the Hollywood sign. Many people tried to find the way desperately. From below it is actually not possible, the closest distance is about 450ft. But using the right track through the Hollywood Hills, you can reach the sign from behind. Your reward is a distance of about 40ft to the sign and a great view over Los Angeles. The trip takes about 45 minutes and using this film you shoud be able to find the right way. Have fun! More information and some maps can be found in my blog at www.disturbedcooking.com (German language, sorry), if you have any further questions, just ask.

Travel Los Angeles, California - The Griffith Observatory
Take a tour of Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, United States -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. When most people think of seeing stars in L.A., their minds jump to celebrities. Really, though, the best place for star-gazing in Los Angeles is the Griffith Observatory. Colonel Griffith J. Griffith donated both land and money for the observatory in his will. Construction began in 1933, and the complex opened in 1935 and was immediately swamped by visitors. The vast observatory includes telescopes and a planetarium. This facility is an important piece of history as Apollo astronauts learned celestial navigation here. The Griffith Observatory has plenty of exhibits that will appeal to visitors of all ages.

Bronson Caves in Hollywood Hills
Visit http://www.pineapple.LA to see more amazing places in Los Angeles Bronson Caves is located in the Hollywood Hills on Canyon Dr. To get there, head up Canyon Dr. and park in the second parking lot on the left Follow the red curb to the trail. Walk, jog or run about 1/2 a mile to the mouth of the cave. Once you are there you will realize why movies such as The Scorpion King, Little House on the Prairie, and the Batman TV series were filmed there. Enter the mouth of the cave and walk through one of its tunnels to the other side. Once you are on the other side, look to your left and you can see the Hollywood sign. Its so close you could throw a rock at it. The gates are open from sunrise to sunset and parking is free. Bronson Caves is a inspiring place to see, even if you aren't making a movie.

Los Angeles Lifestyle: Griffith Park Observatory | Things to Do in LA | Partners Trust
http://www.thepartnerstrust.com - Perched atop the beautiful Griffith Park mountains, the Griffith Park Observatory offers one of the best possible views in the greater Los Angeles area. Even if you don't step foot inside the marvelous space and science museum, (which would be a crime unto itself), you would be treated to a vista unlike any other. Do visit the museum, however - it features a huge pendulum in the lobby which is energy-wise appears to be completely self-sustaining; an original Tesla Coil designed by the father of modern electricity Nikola Tesla (which sends electricity through the air wirelessly to light up nearby fluorescent lighting, by the way); and many other exhibits offering fun and intriguing facts about the solar system and the universe. One of the highlights is definitely the Planetarium show. As you sit in a reclined position, a completely circular screen above projects distant galaxies, nebulae, and other space anomalies - all accompanied by a spirited live narration. When a friend or family member is visiting LA, the Griffith Park Observatory is my default introductory attraction - I just love seeing the look on their faces.

My workplace is wonderful and I want to share it. "Visiting Hollywood Studios, Movie Stars, behind the scenes" I would like to teach using role play. These are my Suadi students. My experience in Saudi Arabia, AlNasr Private Schools, Jeddah. It is about film making in Hollywood Studios. Marilyn Monroe's Grave
about a month ago, i took a trip with my dad to CA to pick me up a guitar from his friend. we went sightseeing and went to Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles. We went to see all of the dead stars (including Farrah Fawcett, Walter Matthau, Jack Lemmon, Carroll o Connor (Archie Bunker), Don Knotts) and we went to see Marilyn Monroe 's grave and they were replacing the name plate. it was a once in a lifetime experience, awesome!
