Here's the link: https://wplearninglab.com/contact-form-7-css-style-almost-anything/ I'll also paste the styles below: /* Submit Button CSS Styles */ .wpcf7 input[type=submit] { padding:15px 45px; background:#FF0000; color:#fff; font-size:30px; font-weight:bold; border:0 none; cursor:pointer; -webkit-border-radius: 5px; border-radius: 5px; } /* Label Text Styles */ .wpcf7 label { padding: 0 0 10px 0; font-size: 20px; } /* Text Input Field Styles */ .wpcf7 input[type=text], .wpcf7 input[type=email], .wpcf7 input[type=url], .wpcf7 input[type=tel], .wpcf7 input[type=number], .wpcf7 .wpcf7-select{ font-size:30px; border: 1px solid red; } /* Textarea Field Styles */ .wpcf7 textarea { width: 100%; color: red; font-size: 20px; border-color:red; } /* Overall form styles */ .wpcf7 { background-color:gray; } Remember that these styles need to go into your CSS stylesheet or if you are putting them right into the header of your site they need to be between style tags. If you are lucky enough to have a theme that allows custom CSS, you can copy and paste them into there. If you're not sure where to find a place where you can enter CSS, this tutorial may help you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLSUWT9MNlA CSS is a very forgiving language, so if you make a change that makes something look really bad just undo your change, save and everything is back to normal. HTML5 Basics - Display Types (Part5)

07:06
In this video we are going to talk about something inherent to html tags: display types. Display types define how the tags behave when rendered by the browser. We can use Style Sheets to change these at any time, but each tag has a default behavior and its important to understand how they will work when you are describing your page when writing the initial markup. Got that? # Three Types There are a lot, but we are going to concern ourselves with three main display styles. # Block Block level elements are big blocks, just like they sound. They are generally used to divide content, because by default block level elements begin on new lines. Block-level elements may contain inline elements and other block-level elements. Inherent in this structural distinction is the idea that block elements create "larger" structures than inline elements. An example is a "p" tag, that sections off the whole paragraph, and forces the next paragraph tag to a new line. Check out the notes below for a link to a list of all the block level tags in HTML. [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/HTML/Block-level_elements] # Inline Inline elements may contain only data and other inline elements. Where block level elements are larger structures that contain all kinds a crap. By default, inline elements do not begin with new line when rendered by the browser. An example of this would be to wrap some words in your paragraph in an "a" tag. the words become a link, but the link does not start a new line in the paragraph, or disrupt the flow of content. It just sits inline in the paragraph. When we get to styling our document, we will note that inline elements cannot take width, height, margin and padding styles. For more on that check out this link [http://www.maxdesign.com.au/articles/inline/] # Inline-block This is the strange, but handy one. An inline block is placed inline (ie. on the same line as adjacent content), but it behaves as a block. So it can take those margins and paddings and dimensions. The only tags that default to inline-block are images and buttons. But with css, later on we will see that we can change any element to inline-block if we want to. Check out the link below for more information on inline-block [http://www.impressivewebs.com/inline-block/] # Display None & Table and others... There are other default display types that all have their little display behavior quirks; like display:table, or display:none. And there are a lot of interesting display methods on the horizon in css3, but today we wanted to just talk about how the html tags cary certain display types by default.

I will spit this window so you will know what is going on. after that we link two files. first one is font awesome CSS file to use icon in the project and second is style.css In the body tag create a container class and in that class put the navigation with navbar class and specify ID nav ID. In the navigation create type button and specify a class toggle collapse and ID toggle button in this button create a span tag and specify class toggle icon using this class we create hamburger menu. Now we will create navigation. so we will add in order list tag with site nav class and here we put a li tag with nav item class. in the li tag we insert and anchor tag and specify site name class. so here we specify website name. after that we create second navigation item with item class and insert anchor tag with nav link class. So here we First specify first navigation item Home. after that we insert another li tag with nav item class and create anchor tag with nav link class specify blog text. I will fast forward this video and create features pricing and contact us navigation item. I will use same classes to create this navigation items. On the last navigation item we will insert social icon font awesome website. So I will add some social icon here Like Facebook Twitter Instagram and YouTube. how the time in style this HTML. in style.css select body tag and specify margin 0% and padding 0% then I will apply Font family and specify background colour two body of the document. then I will create navbar class and specify position absolute right 0% width 260 pixel you are free to choose your own navigation width. specify height 100% background colour black text align centre and transition property 0.8s then I will select side nav class which is child of navbar class specify list style type none padding 0 and margin 0. Create an nav item class specify display flex. then select the child element of navigation item navigation link and specific text decoration none colour font size 1.1em padding 1em and flex 1 property to fill the Remaining space of navigation item. after that create hover effect on a navigation link specify background and colour property. Now now we will align toggle button at the right place. to create toggle collapse class specified float property left margin left -3.3em margin top. 5em content blank outline inherit border 0px background transfer. now we will create toggle button. so using toggle icon class I will create toggle button. In the previous video I showed you how to create toggle icon with animation. we are creating the same code here also so you can skip this section review if you already watch the previous video if not then you can watch this video from the top right corner of the screen. in the toggle icon code I just made some changes And specify different width for horizontal bars of toggle icon. After creating the toggle icon we select site name class and specify text decoration none padding 1.3em font size 2em and color whitesmoke. Select the social icon using nav item last child i tag and specify padding .5em. Then create remove hover effect from the social icons. 2015 How To Remove/Change Elements On Your WordPress Blog

07:44
In this tutorial I will show and explain how to remove or change elements on your wordpress blog. Make sure that you follow the instructions carefully and feel free to ask any questions! Link: Wordpress: https://wordpress.com/ Improved Simpler CSS (plugin): https://wordpress.org/plugins/imporved-simpler-css/screenshots/ Direction: Make sure that your WordPress is up to date. Download the plugin: Improved Simpler CSS. Activate the plugin and make sue it is installed correctly by going to Appearance tab and then Custom CSS. Next up is to understand what CSS classes and ids are: A class is an attribute which specifies a class to an element. class="Hello" An ID is an attribute which specifies an ID to an element. id="Hello" All in all classes and ids both have the same job; classes are for multiple elements but ids are for single elements. A menu on a website will most likely be a class because it will have to be displayed more then once but a picture might be an id because it will only have to be displayed once. Go to your wordpress blog and right click whatever element you want to take away or change. (Text, search, picture.) Go to "inspect element" on IE. (There is something similar on all browsers, if you do not have it then find out how to et it.) A window should pop up, and all the code for the website should be displayed. The highlighted part is the element you selected and find the class or id that corresponds to that element. Note; sometimes the classes or id's are above the element, look around for it. Usually the class or id name has something related to the element. If it is a long class or id like so: class="js-add link comments link disabled-link" then it is usually the first part of the line. In this case it is "js-add." Once you found the class or id you go to the plugin and type: For class: .name { display: none; } For ID: #name { display: none; } Press "save" and refresh your blog to see the effect. State your problems and I will help you out!

CSS Display none vs Visibility hidden

02:28
1. Display none: When this property is attached to an element, it will entirely remove that element from page. No space will be taken by this element on page. 2. Visibility hidden: When this property is attached to an element, it will hide the element but it will occupy its space on the page.

CSS Visibility Hidden Declaration Explained

02:02
CSS Visibility Hidden Declaration Explained https://youtu.be/5EHn2IoE08E CSS visibility hidden allows you to add hidden content on the page. This is similar to the display:none; property, but there is one major difference. Visibility hidden hides the content, but keeps the area where the content was as a blank space. Display:none; hides the content and the content area. You may want to stick to the display property because it gives you more options and there are few use cases where you would want to the space taken up by a element to remain taken up as it is when using visibility:hidden; The other display values available to you are: Block makes the element take up a whole row in the HTML element where it resides. Here's how it looks: display:block; Inline makes the element take up only the space it needs. Here's how it looks: display:inline; Inherit applies the same display property as its parent element. Here's how it looks: display:inherit; Display none makes elements disappear. It also makes it so the hidden element does not take up any space on the page. Here's how it looks: display:none; That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you! If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below. Display settings (block, inline-block, inline, and flex) - Web design tutorial (using the Old UI)

02:55
In Webflow (and web design generally), the display setting you set an element determines its behavior in a layout. Generally speaking, elements either stack on top of each other (vertically) or lay out side by side (horizontally), depending on what display setting is used. The beauty is that you can change the display of any element. In this video, we’ll be covering the five display settings available: 1. Block 2. Inline-block 3. Inline 4. Flex 5. None ---------- Get started with Webflow: https://help.webflow.com/courses/getting-started http://webflow.com http://twitter.com/webflow http://facebook.com/webflow

CSS Display Property Explained In Detail

05:13
CSS Display Property Explained In Detail https://youtu.be/xHo19HnGI0Y CSS display property allows you to set how an element an element is display and even if it's displayed. You can display an element block, inline, inherit or none. Block makes the element take up a whole row in the HTML element where it resides. Here's how it looks: display:none; The display property is one of two properties used to make elements disappear. If you use visibility:none you will make an element disappear, but it still takes up the space on page so. So if the element is 200 pixels high, using display:none the content of the element disappears and the "blank" space takes up zero pixels on the page. If on that same element you use visibility:none you have a "blank" space that is still 200 pixels high. That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you! CSS Display:Block Declaration Explained In Detail

02:34
CSS Display:Block Declaration Explained In Detail https://youtu.be/1IgGXzGI5AU Display block css will make it so an element takes up the entire width inside the HTML element where it resides. This is common for headlines and divs. These means if the HTML element is set to be 200 pixels wide then a block element will take up all 200 pixels of that width. Similary, if the element is 1000 pixels wide a block element will take up the whole 1000 pixel width. Or if an element is set to 100% of the page, a block element within that 100% wide parent will take up 100% of the page. The other display values available to you are: Block makes the element take up a whole row in the HTML element where it resides. And before you go, subscribe and like :) If you're into Wordpress, check out my WPLearningLab channel to learn more about WordPress so you can earn more for yourself, for your clients or for your business.
Dreamweaver cs5 tutorial:Css property DISPLAY ( none, block, inline and inline-block)

11:57
"Block" Versus "In-line" Elements Block-level elements create vertically distinct blocks of content (in the visual context) - generally using a line-break before and after the content. Only this value for the 'display' is allowed to generate a positioned element. Block behavior is exhibited by such HTML elements as BLOCKQUOTEs, DIVs and Headings (Hn.) 'Display' property values creating a block element type: 'block', 'list-item', 'table, 'compact' and 'run-in' In-line elements do not create distinct blocks of content; element content is rendered using a line box (content is distributed line by line within a containing physical or virtual block element.) In-line behavior is exhibited by such HTML elements as physical and virtual character formatting, non-floated images and unmarked content. 'Display' property values creating an in-line element type: 'inline', 'inline-table', 'compact' and 'run-in'. Javascript Tutorial with Examples For Beginners (pt 1)

04:21
This is part one of a series of javascript programming tutorials for beginners. I've created a bunch of example and sample problems for you to solve here: http://www.pyaraapp.com/js-tutorial-1.html Go to that site, open the developer console and type in the following commands and see what happens: /* Javascript Can Change HTML Content */ document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = "Hello There"; /* JavaScript Can Change HTML Styles (CSS) */ document.getElementById("demo").style.fontSize = "30px"; /* JavaScript Can Hide HTML Elements */ document.getElementById("demo").style.display="none"; /* JavaScript Can Show HTML Elements */ document.getElementById("demo").style.display="block"; The problem with most javascript tutorials is that they don't give you enough example problems. If you are a beginner, it is really hard to learn how to code by just watching videos. You need to go out there and really solve sample problems. What is javascript: JavaScript is the programming language of HTML and the Web. Programming makes computers do what you want them to do. JavaScript is easy to learn. This tutorial series will take you from a JavaScript beginner to an expert. Why Study JavaScript? JavaScript is one of the 3 languages all web developers must learn: 1. HTML to define the content of web pages 2. CSS to specify the layout of web pages 3. JavaScript to program the behavior of web pages This tutorial is about JavaScript, and how JavaScript works with HTML and CSS. Learn by Examples: Examples are better than 1000 words. Examples are often easier to understand than text explanations. This tutorial supplements all explanations with clarifying "Try it Yourself" examples. If you try all the examples, you will learn a lot about JavaScript, in a very short time! In this video, I will use the javascript console thats built into the chrome developer tools to get you to start writing javascript code. With the chrome browser, you will be able to write out some code and see the results immediately. Then I will show you how to store a variable and what a variable really is. Then I will go over the different types of variables and then how to output the values of these variables you created.
