MOSFET used in Desktop and Laptop motherboards there are two different types of MOSFET N-Channel MOSFET. P-Channel MOSFET. N-Channel MOSFET Used in Desktop motherboards while in Laptops (motherboard) both N-Channel and P-Channel MOSFET are used. Ok! Enough talk about introducing MOSFET lets Do the testing Process and see which MOSFET is working one and which one is non-working. During testing I will show you which one is P-Channel and which one is N-Channel MOSFET. To test a MOSFET we will need a Multimeter and some working and non-working MOSFET. Mulitimeter-with-MOSFET Ok as we can see MOSFET consist of 3(three) pins 1) Gate 2) Drain 3) Source Gate-Drain-Source-MOSFET Now set your Multimeter to (Continuity Beeper) and Black Probe to Common Ground and Red Probe to Ohms(Everything but Ammeter). Touch Both Red Probe and Black Probe and if your hear a beep sound than you are ready for testing MOSFET. First we will check if this MOSFET is N-Channel or P-Channel. N-Channel MOSFET: Connect Black Probe to the Drain and Red Probe to the Source of MOSFET and if you get any Value on screen of Multimeter than this MOSFET is N-Channel MOSFET.If you did not get any value than better try second one. P-Channel MOSFET: Connect Red Probe to Drain and Black Probe to Source and if you get any Value than its P-Channel MOSFET. So now we know how to find P-Channel and N-Channel MOSFET so its time to test if its in working condition or not. N-channel Working MOSFET: Now Pick a N-channel MOSFET and connect Black Probe to Drain and Red Probe to Gate if you don’t see any value than its working MOSFET.If you see some Value than its a (short MOSFET, a leaked MOSFET or not a MOSFET at all). As its working MOSFET lets charge this MOSFET, connect Black Probe to Drain and touch Red Probe for few seconds to Gate and than Touch Red Probe To Source while Black Probe should stay Connected to Drain and you will here a beep which shows that your MOSFET is charged and in working condition.Remember to do the same test again you have to release to charge from MOSFET you can do this by Holding a MOSFET for few seconds between you fingers or just connect Black Probe to all three Pins at same time. P-Channel Working MOSFET: If you have a P-Channel MOSFET than connect Red Probe to Drain and Black Probe to Gate and if you don’t see any value than its a working P-Channel MOSFET but if you see some value than probably this MOSFET is Short or leaked MOSFET. To charge a working P-Channel MOSFET connect Red Probe to the Drain and touch Black Probe to Gate for few seconds and bring back the Black Probe to Source and you will hear a beep sound which means your P-Channel MOSFET is charged and good to go.

A 1959 AM transistor radio with a speaker dock made by Grundig in West Germany. A re-badged version was sold in the USA in 1960 by Columbia as the Transistor Convertible. I have a video of the Columbia version here http://youtu.be/YONWlsl54zU About those colors I mention: I found a 1959 Grundig catalog online which explained more. The Micro-Transistor Boys (without accessory dock) were available in three color combinations: coral red with light gray; velvet gray with light gray; and blue with light gray (mine). Docks were sold separately. The dock's description didn't give a color selection, but I see photos of gray and red docks on RadioMuseum, no blue docks. Here's a Google Translation of the ad in the brochure: "Thank you .. I do not smoke ", many will say who see the Micro-Transistor Boy for the first time. Система управления светом в квартире на основе arduino! Бета-версия. Моё знакомство с ардуино началось с идеи. Хочу в своей новой квартире что-то сделать своё уникальное. Увидел вот этот модуль http://uniel.ru/catalog/2203 [UCH-M111UX/0808] и загорелся! Что мне в нем понравилось: • Управление с помощью компьютера и выключателей; • Защита от случайного поражения током (на выключатель подаётся 5 В); • Управление одним светильником с помощью нескольких выключателей (проходные выключатели); • Регулируемая задержка выключения. Что мне в нем НЕ понравилось: • Только 8 групп освещения на модуль, 2 модуля – 16 линий и т.д. • Цена!!! • Щелчки реле; • Задержка выключения максимум до 4-х часов; • Невозможность сделать свои сценарии. В итоге пришел к ардуино, благо немного шарю в программировании! Вводные данные: двухкомнатная квартира с полной свободой для вдохновения и творчества (кроме материальной составляющей), «бзик» автоматизировать освещение и приблизить квартиру к понятию «умный дом». Что сделано: 1. Линии света квартиры разбиты на 2 зоны. Каждая защищена автоматом на 6 Ампер и сверху УЗО (под двумя разными УЗО). Освещение пойдет по потолку от реле до потребителей. 2. Запрограммировано «умное освещение»: • В качестве контроллера использую мегу - https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/Mega-2560-R3-CH340G-AT.. • включение света через «кнопку», в качестве кнопки буду использовать - Выключатель кнопочный безвинтовые зажимы 6а Legrand Valena Life; • Кнопки с подтягиваением и защитой от дребезга (2 кабеля на кнопку, 3 кабеля на двухклавишную кнопку) • проходные выключатели реализуются запараллеливанием кнопок на нужную линию; • провод до выключателя – экранированная витая пара; • переключатель на 220 Вольт используется - Тиристорный переменного тока коммутатор (реле), 3.3 В/5 В логики, AC 220 В/5A (пик 10A) - https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/Thyristor-AC-Switch-re.. • переключатель на 12 Вольт используется - Транзисторы MOSFET выключатель постоянного тока, 5 В логики, DC 24 В/30A с оптопар - https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/Transistor-MOSFET-DC-S.. 3. Настроен таймер на каждую линию: • 0 – таймер не используется; • Число минут не ограничено, хоть 24 часа! 4. «Мастеркнопка» при выходе из квартиры. Отключает все включенное. 5. Отдельные линии питаются от 12 Вольт: ночники (2) в детской у изголовья кровати, подсветка зеркала в ванной и ночное освещение туалета (внизу по плинтусу). Мощность у них не большая, кабель на 1,5. Поэтому, думаю, не будет особых потерь напряжения и блок справится с нагрузкой. 6. Подготовлено общение меги и … либо другой меги с шилдом драгино или что-то ещё. По serial. Принцип: сигналы в формате YXX , где Y – признак включить или отключить линию, XX – указание линии: • сигналы 101-119 - включить свет, если он не включен, запустить таймер • сигналы 201-219 - выключить свет, если он не выключен Смысл «основная мега» управляет реле на основе кнопок, таймеров и простых сценариев. Она может работать самостоятельно как система управления освещением. Вторая мега (либо уно) считывает датчики, реализует сложные сценарии и предоставляет веб-интерфейс. Пока проект в стадии бета-тестирования. Квартира в стадии активного ремонта. Планы на будущее: • Простые сценарии на основной меге, например : включить вентиляцию, если свет в туалете горит более 1 минуты – {реализуемо, знаю как} • Возможность изменения таймера через веб-интерфейс и запись в постоянную память меги – {реализуемо, отчасти знаю как} • Связка с другой мегой – {реализуемо, по Serial1} • Веб интерфейс и ajax – во с данным пунктом у меня загвоздка! Для реализации веб-интерфейса приобрел: «Юн щит v2.4 все-в-одном щит для ООН, Леонардо, Mega2560 Linux, Wi-Fi, ethernet, USB» - https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/v2-4-Mega2560-Linux/32.. Очень хочется подключаться к веб-серверу умного дома и видеть красивый интерфейс с планом квартиры и иконками света, нажав на которые можно включить и выключить свет. Посмотреть индикаторы и датчики. Но пока так и не понял как это сделать…. Там на борту шилда стоит линукс и веб-сервер соответственно. Но как реализовать мою идею, пока не знаю.

[Recorded: May 8, 2009] The solid circuits built originally by Jack Kilby established that all the components required to make general-purpose electronic circuits could be fabricated using a common semiconductor material. However, their hand-wired interconnections made them difficult and expensive to produce in high volume. Seeking to solve reliability problems with transistors at Fairchild Semiconductor, co-founder Jean Hoerni invented a new manufacturing approach: the planar process. Fairchilds Director of R & D, Robert Noyce, realized that the Hoernis process would allow interconnecting multiple transistors on one chip in a batch process that also made them more reliable and lower in cost. The planar integrated circuit, first created by Jay Lasts team at Fairchild, remains the basis of the modern semiconductor industry and ranks with the printing press, the steam engine, and wireless communications in terms of global social impact. In this lecture, four speakers describe the personal, technical, and business stories associated with bringing Fairchild Micrologic, the first planar integrated circuit family, to market: Christophe Lécuyer, author of Making Silicon Valley, on Jean Hoerni and his development of the planar process. Leslie Berlin, author of the biography of Robert Noyce The Man Behind the Microchip, on Noyce and his conception of the planar integrated circuit. Gordon E. Moore, Fairchild and Intel co-founder and director of R&D on the early days of the industry and the background to the contributions of Hoerni and Noyce. Jay T. Last, Fairchild co-founder and leader of the Micrologic team on the creative efforts required to turn Noyces concept into a working product. This video talks about the different roles that the various power supply decoupling and filter capacitors serve on a circuit board. While the video doesn't cover how to select the values, it does illustrate and demonstrate why both "bulk" electrolytic caps and high frequency (usually ceramic) caps are used, and why they are placed where they are. There is a lot written about the topic of selecting values - google is your friend.
